In this paper, the performance of Lithium iron phosphate battery using carbon coated aluminum foil as positive collector is studied. The main performance of 10 Ah soft coated Lithium iron phosphate battery using ordinary aluminum foil and coated aluminum foil is compared. The research shows that the use of coated aluminum foil can not only improve the adhesion of Lithium iron phosphate material, but also use conductive coating to effectively reduce the contact internal resistance of positive material and collector, thereby reducing the internal resistance of the battery, Improve the rate performance of the battery. Compared with using ordinary aluminum foil as the collector, using carbon coated aluminum foil can reduce the internal resistance of the battery by about 65%. However, the gram capacity of Lithium iron phosphate cathode material is about 5-10 mAh · g-1 lower, and the first efficiency is about 4% lower; At a fast discharge rate of 15C, the capacity of cells using carbon coated aluminum foil increases by about 15% compared to ordinary aluminum foil. At a discharge rate of 10C, the platform increases by 0.3-0.4 V; The use of carbon coated aluminum foil cells has a higher self discharge rate at room temperature, but also a higher capacity recovery rate; At 550 cycles, the use of carbon coated aluminum foil can improve the cycling performance of the battery by about 1%. However, in terms of low-temperature performance, the use of carbon coated aluminum foil does not improve the low-temperature performance of the battery
